"Bark Forces" program will be engaging, educational and fun as well as using the popular pet themed art of national artist, Missy Johnson as a call to action to inspire others to help make a difference for animals in need. Through the "Bark Forces", fans will continue DFP's dedication to helping raise awareness for animals in need across the US and beyond by posting and sharing pets across social media sites and the DFP blog. Missy has created a unique custom military themed logo, badges and promotional materials that fans will be able to post, share and purchase to show their support of "DFP Bark Forces"and helping animals in need.
The Central Bark Command of the "Bark Forces", hidden away in their East Coast bunker will be posting challenges and interactive games to promote awareness as well as educating fans how they can make a difference for animals in need, whether it be rescue, fostering, donating, adoption, or volunteering. There are different virtual badges that fans will be rewarded with when they take part in the various challenges the "Bark Forces" will issue over the next year. Two very special fans, who go above and beyond the call of duty will be awarded a special recognition at the end of the year. Challenges have 3 levels of participation ranging from a simple act (Level 1) of donating old linens to a shelter to a higher level badge (Level 3) for fostering a homeless pet.
Here are the 3 Levels and badges explained:
Active Bark Status- Level 1 Badge
You will receive this badge if you post, share, and make as many people aware of animal(s) in need. If you raise awareness for a pet shelter/rescue organization that is doing a fundraiser or in need of donated items, such as towels, placemats,etc... that they can use for the animals to make them more comfortable. Monetary donations up to $75 dollars a year will also qualify for this badge level.
Woof Con Alpha- Level 2 Badge
The Woof Badge is awarded for Team members who regularly attend rescue/shelter events, make a monetary donations to a pet organizations in need over $100 a year and volunteer at a shelter or pet rescue in their local area. Members can also receive this badge for doing local transports for different pet organizations within their home town or state.
Active Paw Support- Level 3 Badge
This badge will be awarded to those Team Members who foster, adopt, take part in their local rescue/shelter groups and donate to pets in need over $500 or more a year. Members who exhibit creativity and dedication to helping animals in need through fundraising, organizing rescue/adoption events, and doing transports for rescue animals across different states. This badge is the top level awarded so at this level we hope to educate and inspire others to want to work toward this type of top level Bark Forces Team Member.

Sponsors will be able to promote and share their products which Dogs for the PAWS fans are always asking for...new tips, giveaways, new products and ideas to having happy and healthy pets. All of this done through a fun and educational way that helps build a growing network to share and help rescued, abused, neglected and homeless pets as well as the dedicated groups that help them.
